President and Chief Executive Officer Arylessence, Inc. Steve Tanner is President and Chief Executive Officer of Arylessence, Inc., a leading fragrance house known for innovation and creativity in beauty and cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceuticals, laundry and home care, and home décor. He is a leader in the fragrance industry, serving on the Fragrance Materials Association of the United States (FMA) Board of Directors, its Executive Committee and is its Treasurer. He also serves on the boards of the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM); the American Cleaning Institute (ACI – formerly Soap and Detergent Association); the Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA), and is Chair of the CSPA Air Care Division. Steve previously served on the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Arylessence is a long-standing, active member of the International Federation of Essential Oils and Aroma Trades (IFEAT) and the European Federation of Essential Oils (EFEO). An industry voice for the quality, safety and sustainability of fragrance ingredients, Steve promotes responsible fragrance research, design and manufacture, and encourages close working partnerships among industry participants to address regulatory, governmental, and consumer concerns. Over 20 years, Steve has transformed Arylessence into a major competitor that creates and manufactures fragrance and flavors in a state-of-the-art facility near Atlanta, serves leading marketers in the U.S. and overseas, and ships to customers in over 30 countries. Leaders in the design of natural, organic, and sustainably-produced scents for today’s environmentally sensitive products, Arylessence perfumers, scientists and marketing experts work closely with clients in a multi-disciplinary, team-based structure, and use proprietary models for the development of competitive fragrances, flavors, and applications. |
